OEM 12 cores SC/APC 0.9mm Single Mode G657A1 Fiber Optic Pigtail Manufacturer, Factories

• Low insertion loss • High return loss • Various connector types available • Easy installation • Environmentally stable

Product Description

The Fiber Optical Pigtails are ultra reliable components featuring low insertion loss and return loss. They come with your choice of simplex or duplex cable configuration. The Fiber optic pigtail is a fiber optic cable terminated with a factory-installed connector on one end, leaving the other end terminated. Hence the connector side can be linked to equipment and the other side melted with optical fiber cables.

The fiber optic pigtail are utilized to terminate fiber optic cables via fusion or mechanical splicing. High-quality pigtail cables, coupled with correct fusion splicing practices offer the best performance possible for fiber optic cable terminations. These fiber optic pigtails are usually found in fiber optic management equipment like ODF, fiber terminal box and distribution box.

A fiber pigtail is a single, short, usually tight-buffered fiber optic cable with a factory-installed connector on one end, and un-terminated fiber on the other end. The SC/APC connector is a fiber-optic connector with a threaded body, which was designed for use in high-vibration environments. It is commonly used with both single-mode optical fiber and polarization-maintaining optical fiber. SC/APC fiber optic pigtail is one of common type fiber optic pigtail, it come with one side of SC/APC connector only.

The termination connector can be Single mode UPC, APC or Mutlimode PC. Normally, the cable use single mode G652D, and also have other choose use single mode G657A1, G657A2, G657B3 or Multimode OM1, OM2, OM3, OM4, OM5.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a fiber optic pigtail?

A fiber optic pigtail is a single, short, tight-buffered optical fiber cable that has a factory-installed connector pre-terminated on one end, and unterminated raw fiber on the other end for fusion or mechanical splicing.

Where are fiber optic pigtails typically utilized?

They are commonly utilized to terminate fiber optic cables in management equipment such as ODFs (Optical Distribution Frames), fiber terminal boxes, and optical distribution boxes.

What is the advantage of using SC/APC connectors?

SC/APC connectors feature a threaded body designed for high-vibration environments, offering very high return loss (≥ 55dB) and reliable performance with single-mode fibers.

What types of fiber can be used for these pigtails?

They support single-mode fiber variants like G652D, G657A1, G657A2, and G657B3, as well as multimode options including OM1, OM2, OM3, OM4, and OM5.

What are the insertion loss and return loss specifications?

These optical pigtails feature low insertion loss of ≤ 0.3dB and high return loss of APC ≥ 55dB for optimal transmission quality.

Are different cable diameters and sheath options available?

Yes, they are available in diameters such as Φ0.9mm and Φ0.6mm, or customized sizes, with outsheath material options like PVC, LSZH, and OFNR.
