FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) is non-metallic, lightweight, and dielectric. Steel wire offers higher tensile strength and is typically used for self-supporting aerial drop cables to resist strong winds and ice loads over longer spans.
Why choose G.657.A2 single-mode fiber instead of standard G.652.D?
Standard G.652.D single-mode fiber is optimized for long-haul networks but is sensitive to bending. G.657.A2 is a bend-insensitive single-mode fiber with a minimum bend radius of just 7.5mm.
